This tool monitors the Windows File History Service’s event logs for operation timeout and backup error events.

Tested on Windows 11.

I developed this little tool because Windows file history “silently” stashes errors away in the event log. This tool generates desktop notifications instead and thereby makes the Windows File History Service a lot more useful by making it a lot more secure by informing the user about potential issues.
